I invite you to log into your child's Seesaw account. That is the main way I'm going to communicate with parents this year, as well as email. I'll provide login information once that is available.

Your child's gold folder is my other way of communicating with you. I check it daily, so if you have any doctor's notes, questions, or lunch money to get to me please put it in your child's gold folder. Their behavior calendar is also located in their gold folder. A green smile means that they had a great day! A color change to yellow or red will be accompanied by a note and/or phone call to discuss the child's behavior. Please initial their behavior calendar daily so that I know you've seen it.

The single most important thing you can do with your child at home to support their learning is to read with them. Try to read a book or two every night before bedtime or whenever you get the chance - it makes a world of difference!

Snack calendars go home at the end of the previous month. Please bring enough snacks for the entire class on the day your child is listed. Granola bars, graham crackers, fruit gummies, and goldfish crackers are typical snacks that the students seem to enjoy. Snacks that are individually wrapped would be preferable.

With the current Covid situation, we are prepared to go from in-class instruction to fully remote instruction at a moment's notice, so please be flexible and know that your child's instruction and safety are priorities for both myself and the district. Thanks!
