The Jim Barnes Middle School Theatre program inspires students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills through the art of performance. Students learn the fundamentals of acting, stage presence, character development, and collaborative storytelling while also gaining experience in technical theatre areas such as costumes, sets, and lighting. Through class productions, performances, and campus events, students work together to bring stories to life and share their talents with the school community. The program encourages teamwork, imagination, and self-expression, providing a supportive space where students can grow both artistically and personally. The Jim Barnes Middle School Theatre program fosters a love for the performing arts and helps students build skills that will serve them well on stage and beyond.
