  • Scholarship Overview:
     
    LA Tutors proudly grants a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship to students who demonstrate creativity and positive impact. This ongoing monthly scholarship is open to currently enrolled high school, college, and graduate students showcasing their creativity in various ways, from creative fundraisers to innovative apps or insightful blog posts. The deadline for applications is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.
     
    Requirements:
    Must be currently enrolled in high school or college
    Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent)
    Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada
     
    To Enter:

    Submit an essay describing their innovative project
    Provide supporting documentation (letter of recommendation, news article/photo featuring their project, etc.)

  • The College Board Opportunity Scholarships Program guides students through the steps for building your college list and applying for college. Scholarships are awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete the steps. Complete all six steps to be eligible for a $40,000 scholarship. Be sure to check out the helpful video inside.
  • The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) website offers a wealth of information for the college bound student-athlete. With more than 1,000 colleges and universities across three divisions, NCAA schools offer a variety of academic and athletics programs to meet your needs.
  • StudentScholarships.org offers a searchable database for scholarships as well as many videos that explain what you do in various occupations and how to get there. This website is an excellent source of information.
