Seguin High School Starsteppers Dance Team
The Seguin High School dance program allows students to develop their technical skills, creativity, and confidence through various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Students learn choreography, performance techniques, and the cultural and historical aspects of dance. If students choose to pursue a dance training/team pathway, they also focus on leading school spirit and community pride around campus. Overall, the program prepares students for success in any future field by developing communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
Program Highlights
- The Seguin High School Starsteppers received Grand Champion at their most previous competitions with MA regional in Corpus Christi and Crowd Pleasers in Dripping Springs. 
- Some of the awards include 1st place in the Novelty, Military, and Kick category. A special judges award for their Novelty from MA as well as an award for outstanding choreography. 
- At the Crowd Pleasers competition, Starsteppers also received the Crowd Pleaser award for their Novelty routine. This award was only awarded to 4 other teams in the entire competition so it was a huge testament to all the work the students put in and we are thrilled."
